red with light crimson rim. aromatic almost explosive nose of bright strawberry, slightly burnt cigarette smoke which lqrgely blows off and threw me off, hint of sour cherry and sweaty socks. On palate, fully resolved, balanced palate of light strawberry, long finish of pleasant light fruits. Almost no tannins.

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore) : Pirate bottle. Much richer wine here, whole cluster, more ripeness, more volume, but also more greenness. A touch disjointed, an bit of nail polish smell, but very Burgundian. Interesting.

Decanted for two hours. Juicy aroma of red berries, light & refreshing mouthfeel, lasting aftertaste of pomegranates & sour cherries. Delish! Still going strong, plenty of life left in this one.

Aroma of red gummy frogs, quite dry and acidic on the palate, a bit of fizz on the finish.

Stalks, cherries, violets, some confection and a touch of earthiness. Upfront, very smooth and easy to drink but also showing good texture and structure. I really quite liked the wine, but I rather less like the price tag associated.
