Denny Bini Podere Cipolla Lambrusco Emilia IGT

Kinda salty and sour this time out. Tastes a little out there. A little too much vinegar.

Delicious as always, this bottle is far fruitier than I remember with a Bojo nouveau vibe... Still has some earth and floral quality to reign it in. Bare rasp of tannin and a touch sweet in the middle with a dry finish. Happy wine.

Tannicbeast's 3/12/19 note sums this up pretty well- red and black berries and a nice earthy aroma that is more like cutting into a zucchini over soil or dirt. This is a "serious" Lambrusco, on the lighter and fruitier spectrum for such. Hands down to me Lambrusco is THE pizza wine and this did not disappoint with a mushroom ragu pie from Pompieri (Durham NC). Gift from Mrs Knurd for Father's Day dinner. B+ (88) evaluation.

Excellent, earthy nose with some peppery and olive character. Full texture, refreshing acidity and tingle from the carbonation, a pleasure to drink. Delicious with prosciutto. Shame it’s so hard to find.

Organic 30% Lambrusco Marani, 30% Lambrusco Salamino, 20% Lambrusco Maestri, 10% Lambrusco Grasparossa, 10% Ancellotta, made with the Charmat-Martinotti method and capped with a crown. This hipster Lambrusco is bright purple with a violet hue. The nose is clean and aromatic, with black fruit, red flowers and a touch of earthiness. The palate is dry, although, there must be some RS to balance out the medium (+) acidity and medium tannins. …

Popped and poured. Crown cap. Extremely dark shade of purple. Fragrant aroma of ripe blackberries. Earthy black fruit up front, Cel-Ray on the back end. Rich berry finish. Mild effervescence, dry, good backbone. Refreshing, interesting, complex by Lambrusco standards.
