Ruby color. Cherries, raspberries and blackberries with hints of floral, leather and earthiness in the nose. Blackberries, plums,, mocha and licorice in the flavor. Nice structure, well balanced, nice complexity and acidity, full bodied and a long finish.

Still bold and big with loooong finish. Quite amazing and indicative of why CdP (and Barolos) are built for long term cellaring.

Fairly light red. Ripe roasted black fruit, combined with some really nice earthiness. Rich, warm high alc. flavours and a rich but dry finish. Not as ripe, hot and sweet as 07 Donjon but what is? One glass was enough.

A gorgeous glass of wine. A perfect CdP coloring. Smooth, nice body and just a gorgeously fruity mouthful. I doubt that it's going to get any better, so it's now in the "Drink Up" window, but we have a few years left before decline.

Nose showed stewed fruit and rustic elements along with a noticeable “hot” alcohol presence. Palette was mostly dark red fruit, stewed fruits, brown sugar, and some alcohol heat. Finish was black cherry and spice, fairly short overall and slightly dry. Overall, disappointing, probably should have drunk a few years ago.

I have had poor luck with '07 CDP's - not this bottle. PNP. Great savory nose & palate. Tobacco, dried raspberry, red currants - the Burgundian side of CDP. Medium body, high acidity, integrated tannins and very long finish. Flavor profile on palate similar to nose - more complexity than my limited notes suggest. 94+/- I loved this - this has aged very well.

I have been drinking through a coravin and then an aerator. The wine is better than the bottle I tried a few weeks ago but is an average bottle of wine. Fruit on the nose, the palate was berry, cherry and leather. Perhaps too much leather as the flavors were all muted. The finish was average. Probably a few years past its prime.

Cork broke on extraction - the nose was beautiful, ripe fruit and spices. That was all. The palate started with fruit which somehow transformed into nasty. The finish was oxidized. Two sips and we poured the bottle out and went to a backup.

Lighter from aging at the edge but opaque in the center of the pour. An inviting nose of raspberry and blackberry. Rolls very smoothly into the mouth, with ample tannin and acidity that are well integrated and rounded. Excellent concentration with a long and dry finish. Aging well and gracefully, with no signs of premature oxidation. Fully drinkable now and any time in the next 3 years.

PNP - dark red color. On nose, earth, dirt, plum, black raspberry, lavender & dark dried cherry. Similar palate with great palate feel (glycerin). Medium+ body, medium+ acidity & long finish - great balance. Excellent - has aged well & fruit is very nice but wine starting to show much more tertiary characteristics. My wife & in-laws all really enjoyed. 93+/-

Carafage de 2 heures. Robe légèrement violacée, nez enivrant avec un beau fruité, des épices fines et un peu de crayon. En bouche, du cassis, des cerises rouges et une belle fraîcheur. Également une belle touche poivrée légèrement herbacée. Vin très agréable à boire maintenant, mais qui gagnera avec un peu plus de maturité. Bien content d'en avoir d'autres en cave. À revisiter dans 3 ans, mais il pourra se garder facilement 10 ans de plus.

Opened for 1 hour before tasting at the restaurant. Nose had cocoa, leather, but still with a bit of fruit. Silky tannins. It was just as good as the bottle we opened 2 years ago. I am happy I have more in cellar.

A really wonderful CDP, in a wonderful drinking window right now. Round and well balanced, the grenache fruit dominates on this wine but proves well structured, displaying excellent balance between acidity and tannins. Medium finish, big alcohol on the nose, but not hot in the least on the finish. Red fruits, tobacco, leather coming through on the palate. Fantastic wine.

This needed about an hour to open. A bit tannic, but with time a nice mixture of sweet and savory notes emerged from this wine. Nice acidity with bbq, herbs, blackberry, and vanilla notes. Good complexity for the price. Drink after a 1-2 hour decant or hold.

Hooked up to a nitrogen canister and followed for two days. Floral nose of violets and plums, some spice/pepper, and a hint of licorice. While the wines depth is somewhat lacking, the red fruit/cherry and plum flavors are solid but don't linger long. Fine for short-term drinking, this was my last bottle and a solid value at $30.

Sampled from a 1.5 ML….. Very deep red. Muted nose, black cherries, touch of leather. This wine was very one-dimensional. Dull, as though the fruit had already died and left little residue other than tannin. Dry finish. Lacking in personality. There was nothing here that I found very appealing. I wasn't so sure that this would be a Rhone to age, and think there's a lot better French Rhone out there. The second night the wine was flat!

Opened and allowed to sit for an hour before consuming over 2.5 hours. Nicely balanced, with firm but fine tannins very evident upon opening, and softening over time. Maintains a nice and strong concentration without ever being overpowering. Will hold my other bottle for 2-5 years, and wish that I had more. Great wine.
