Crimson in the glass with no violet or orange hues. Clear. Fairly muted nose with red berries and vanilla. Same red fruit on the palate. Medium-short, red berry finish. Well-balanced, fresh, with no rough edges. Good bottle, but nothing distinctive or memorable.

Plum, liquorice, berries and vanilla at the delicate nose. Not overly expressive but quite pure. Very ripe on the palate: cooked fruit and prunes, cabbage and some earth. Seductive texture, slight note of alcohol compensated by nice acids and round tannins and a nice length. Modern style. Lacking some depth and a solid backbone, but still very high value for money. Ready to drink over the next few years, not sure about long-term aging potential.

Dark cherry and cedar, long finish. Nicely integrated tannins. Drinking well now but may improve even more.

Better than 7 months ago. Similar notes: slight perfumed with dark fruit, dusty and tannic on the palate. However, it is more integrated and less harsh. Probably another year or so would bring this to peak.

While the nose was not overly appealing, it is a mature and noble wine. Flat with oak and not much fruit.

Good, but not great. Better on day three. Probably a bargain, but not my favorite 09.

Very good...this has one of the best quality to price ratios in bordeaux. Held up well on day 2.

Very nice, and inexpensive representation of the 2009 vintage, excellent - Dark, full bodied with a nose of blackfruit, plum, cherry, cedar, green leaf tobacco and vanilla, very well structured, good integration already, complex, dusty, off dry on the palate with very good length, tasty! (90 Points).

Love this wine. Needs a little time, Black fruit, very flexible for casual drinking or with dinner. Opened one and immediately purchased more.
