Early Mar 2025, wine tasting ‘Tempos Vega Sicilica’: very pale yellow color; started with a strong sour apple note in the nose, later more restrained with apples and pear fruit scents; tropical fruit and caramel flavors in the mouth; mellow fruity acidity on the palate; long fruity finish.

Classic dry furmint profile - citrus, smokey flintiness, some stone fruit and a hint of more exotic fruit too. Very high acidity adds balance and carries the finish. There is a certain richness to the palate. Very good but not worth what I paid - there are equally good examples for significantly less.

Clear, Pale lemon. Clean, pronounced with aromas of peach, pineapple, dill, peanut shell, butter, coconut. Youthful. Dry, high acid, medium alcohol, light bodied. Pronounced with flavours of pineapple, nectarine, dill, some butter, coconut and charred wood. Long finish. Can drink now, but has potential for ageing

Lemon, tea, verbena, chalky minerality on the nose. Taut, lively acidity on the palate, little fruit, then lemon again.

Not a lot of aromatics but instead a huge acidity and chalk/minerals. Lovely wine with plenty of things to like on a hot summer day!

Jaune pâle. Nez de fruits blancs, agrumes, touche de vanille (crème glacé). Une bouche passablement acide, à tranché au couteau. Bonne amertume en fin de bouche.

bottles drunk over 3 days, no noticeable evolution. nose is quite closed, yellow fruit, ripe, wet stones with a touch of smoke. the palate has a lot of zip, it is long and carried by the acidity. still, there is enough flesh to make this wine already very enjoyable. obviously very young, would love to see how it evolves in a couple of years.

Minerals, fruit - drinking well. First sip tasted off, but it took about 10 minutes and the off flavors left the glass and bottle.

(limited notes) The bouquet was colidosopic and constantly evolving from peach, to floral perfumes, to minerals, to spice, and then almond. On the palate, it was soft and giving, nutty, mineral and with saturating citrus acidity. It was fully mature yet highly enjoyable.

A much better bottle than I had a year ago from this vintage. This on is dry, a little developed, a little waxy with notes of white peaches, almonds, hay, smokey minerals and a lovely, rich sun-ripe fruit. Fully integrated oak and a nice acididy makes the wine very harmonious and drinkable. A rather complex wine indeed.

A little over the top but still very complex with interesting nuances of yellow fruit, oak and minerals. Maybe a little dusty and dried out. Should have had this one a few years ago.

Already very developed with typical high acidity and a fat, full-bodied texture. Liquorice-like minerals, hay, arrack, banana and tobacco. A powerful wine with good concentration and length. The oak has begun to integrate well by now also. This is really good but I am not fully satisfied with the development though. It feels a little, but just a little, dusty and mushroom-like. Maybe a weak bottle?

Pop & pour. Pale, clear gold. Funky, slightly vegetal/herbal nose. A hint of crushed flower. Lighter bodied, on the austere side. Extremely high levels of acidity & dryness. Tart lemon w a string eucalyptus note on the mid palate. Clean & dry mouthfeel. Medium length. Needs some food.

Lemon in colour with a rather shy nose giving way to an oily palate that offers tropical fruit, marzipan, fresh almond and stony minerality. Excellent balance between bracing acidity, high extract against medium full body and generous alcohol. Has the intensity to age and improve.

Yeahhh, a dry one but with furmint honeyed touch. Unsurprisingly, my mind was thinking of sweet Tokaji, puttonyos and Aszu aromas. Althought that, citrius, apricots and flowers on nose. Dark hay colour and lovely long acid aftertaste. Paired grilled sword fish. Very good wine. Desde luego, un vino blanco seco pero con un toque de miel. No fue sorprendente que mi cabeza estuviese pensando en dulces, putoños y aromas de Aszu. A pesar de ello, en nariz presentaba aromas a …
