Gave this lots of air tonight. Vibrant fruit and tannins in check. Served with pizza from our favorite take-out restaurant wow.

Lots of earth and bone dry. Just finished bottle #6, and learned several bottles back to decant a couple of hours and give this lots of air. I cannot say this is one of my first "go to" wines . . . much prefer a Barolo or Barbaresco, but it seems to work on pizza night with an acquired taste.

Pale crimson in color, this wine (100% Nebbiolo) reveals ripe cherry, cranberry, anise and orange rind on the nose. The mouth feel is lighter bodied with mineral undertones. The finish is well balanced with the red fruits, acidity and minerals in equal harmony. 13.5% abv. Purchased for $36US, this was an easy drinking red from a quality producer.
